What do I need to start?

To start we can set you up with the PADI Elearning program, so you can finish your theory at home before your holiday. Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification. The minimum age is 10 years old, where 10 to 14 year old divers earn a Junior Open Water certification.  

What will I do?

Throughout the course, you’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. After you have finished the knowledge development sessions on your PADI Elearning account you will complete your in water training in Chub Cay. You will learn and practice dive skills in the pool and by making four open water dives.

How long will it take?

PADI programs are performance based. You proceed as you demonstrate mastery of the course skills. This allows you to work at a pace that is comfortable for you. The PADI Elearning gives you the freedom to study at your own pace, but is set at 8 to 15 hours. Generally the practical part of the open water course takes 2 to 3 days.
